IPAR is a space for reflection, dialogue and proposals for concerted agricultural and rural policies in Senegal and the West African region, created in 2008. The initiative was inspired by agricultural and rural specialists who already supported farmers’ organizations and who were interested in creating permanent spaces for forward-thinking and strategic thinking.
We conduct research, training and debate on the themes of: Structural Transformation of Agriculture, (2) Migration and Youth Employment, (3) Climate Change, (4) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and (5) Governance of natural and land resources.
