I am a self-motivated professional with over ten years in community work, six years in public interest litigation and five years in teaching law. I have acquired vast experience in social justice practice at community level which employs training and use of paralegals and alternative dispute resolution tools and avenues such as community elders and chiefs.

I have participated in several social justice conferences and trainings and hold several Certificates in Human Rights from various institutions, including the Human Rights Development Initiative, a collaborative organisation of University of Pretoria. I have comprehensive understanding and practical interaction with regional and international legal instruments and institutions such as the Committee on Economic Social and Cultural Rights, the East African Community and the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Right. I teach courses such as constitutional law, human rights, civil and criminal litigation. Two years experience as a researcher at the High court of Kenya.
