Justice Call is an independent Egyptian legal organization established in 2018, aiming to strengthen legal awareness within the community by providing high quality legal knowledge of the rules of International Human Rights Law and International Humanitarian Law for lawyers, researchers and academics with a focus on young people.

Justice Call provides legal and technical support for initiatives and community organizations, based on its belief in the role of civil society in promoting the comprehensive development process. In addition to attaining a society in which the values of justice and human rights respect prevail, within the framework of the SDG16+

Vision:

A peaceful society in which everyone has effective access to justice.

Objectives:

  1. Promoting legal awareness in the Egyptian society by providing high-quality training programs about National and International Law.
  2. Providing effective, innovative legal, technical representation and support to youth organizations, initiatives concerned with peacebuilding and strengthening the rule of law and development in Egypt.
  3. Promoting effective access to justice for all groups, especially marginalized groups in Egyptian society.
  4. Supporting the effective, genuine and productive relationships between the Law and the process of Comprehensive Development in the light of the 16th Objective of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Fields of work:

  1. Producing innovative legal knowledge content, which includes research material in all its forms.
  2. Networking with initiatives and civil society organizations in order to promote respect for the rule of law and societal peace.
  3. Providing legal advice and various capacity-building programs to support emerging initiatives and organizations.
  4. Capacity building and training for lawyers, legal and academic researchers and on the use of international humanitarian law and International Human Rights Law in their legal and academic work.
