I am a Lawyer, a development expert, a justice sector reforms advocate, an human right educator and a listener. I major in sensitizing communities on their basic rights and duty under the Law and helping them in enforcing the rights and championing them whenever it is breached. I have the experience of not just applying the Law as it is but also question the Law, explain the Law to people and suggest needs for reforms where necessary. I am involved in breaching the gap between Government institutions and the people in all sectors and also engage the people to question the government for a sectorial change in their communities. I'm interested in joining the network so as to create a synergy for a formidable team beyond my country (Nigeria) in ensuring justice to the extremes of the rural societies in Africa and the entire world.
Olufolahan Awoyemi is the network champion (main point of contact) for Justice Development and Peace Commission of the Catholic Archdiocese of Ibadan, Nigeria.
