My name is Matabishi Narukako John, a Founder and CEO of a community Based Organization called Kakuma Vocational Center . I am particularly interested in human rights work. The mission of that community based organization is to prepare and to implement sustainable programs for Children, Girls and young women in the camp and host community, in vocational training and human development skills so that they may become self-reliant in playing their role.
It is with this aim in mind that Kakuma Vocational Center gives a solid basis to underprivileged Children, youth and young women to help themselves and their families today and in the future. Besides making use of the resources of the network to build the capacity of the organization, I would also want to use this opportunity to achieve a deeper insight into the subject of human rights law. It is equally my desire to share experiences with members in Kenya Kakuma refugee camp.
