I am a co-founder of Land Governance Alliance, a local non-profit organization based in Malawi, that advocates for pro-poor land tenure and management systems in Malawi. Prior to founding Land Governance Alliance, I served as Head of Programmes for LandNet Malawi, where I coordinated the participation of civil society land actors in the land reform process and contributed to the strategic and programmatic activities that championed the enactment of the 10 land-related laws in 2016.
In my capacity as Head of Programmes, I have sat on various committees including the Malawi National Steering committee on the implementation of the Lands Laws, UN Right to Food Steering Committee in Malawi, The Ministry of Natural Resources Sector Working group and represented my organization in various international forums, including the International Land Coalition Regional Assembly, Global Land Forum, Technical Thematic Forum to Commemorate 5th Anniversary of the VGGT and Pre-conference on Land Policy in Africa.

I have over 6 years experience in land tenure and property rights, women's land rights, customary land tenure systems, responsible land based investments and community land conflict. I hold a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
