LANTUUN DOHIO is a Virginia registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, with its main office located in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Its mission is to eradicate human trafficking and protect children from violence, neglect, abuse and exploitation in Mongolia and around the world. We believe a child who grows up in a loving and caring environment is less susceptible to become a victim of human trafficking and/or turn out to be an abuser. Therefore, our main approach is to work with children in vulnerable areas from a very young age and engrave self-worth and respect in their innocent minds before dark shadow nests in it.
HOW WE IMPACT?
We use HOLISTIC APPROACH to achieve our goal, and we are COMMITTED TO MAKE LASTING CHANGE. These are some of our approaches:
I am a social worker by training and I have been working in the nonprofit field for over five years, specializing in gender-based violence and anti-corruption fields. I worked with the innovative crowdfunding platform, grassroots organizations and development consulting firms. I worked at the Asia Division of the American Bar Association's Rule of Law Initiative where I supported anti-corruption, Internet freedom, and anti-domestic violence programs in Southeast Asia and China. I have my Master's degree in Social Work with a concentration in Social and Economic Development from Washington University in St. Louis.
