LADA is a grassroots NGO formed in 1994 to provide human rights advocacy, legal support, education and wareness-raising in the Southern Province of Zambia. The LADA Adult Paralegal Program was initially implemented in 1994 to provide poor women and children of the Southern Province with free legal advice and assistance, specifically relating to property, inheritance, child abuse in its various forms (including early marriage, defilement, neglect, and child labor), and basic human rights.
