Law School of the Ukrainian Catholic University pushes the development of a legal education environment of Ukraine by setting up the high standards of education, project and research work

UCU Law School, established in September 2014, for a short period of time became a significant legal education institution in Ukraine, because of the high goals we’d declared and level of projects we had implemented.

Since 2016 we are running a LL.M. Program and last year it has gathered the best Ukrainian Master law students according to the results of the united independet state exam to enter the Law Master Studies. Within this Program we’re promoting a teaching diversity courses are taught as by UCU-based teachers, as by foreign porfessors (from the U.S., France, Poland), other Ukrainian universities and legal practitioners.

We had established a fruitful institutional cooperation with international projects and organizations, state authorities and Ukrainian law firms, which are permanently supporting are projects with expert and organizational aid and providing an opportunity for students to study at our LL.M. Program by establishing a scholarships. Our ambition is not only built the leading Ukrainian Law School, but to develop a legal education environment of Ukraine by setting up the high standards of education, project and research work and proving that the European-level legal education is possible in Ukraine

Ivan Horodyskyy, Director of the Law School of the Ukrainian Catholic University (since 2014) and Partner of the Dexis Partners Law Firm. Legal practitioner with 10 years of experience, including 5 years in the human rights defense and education sphere. Areas of specialization: human rights protection, data protection and access to information, IT and corporate law, government relations and public international Law. Member of the ICT Committee of the Ukrainian Bar Association and International Association for Artificial Intelligence and Law.
