I think of myself as a relational, capable and reliable young woman eager to make a mark in the world around me, not apologetic about any worthy cause I strongly believe in and earnest in pursuit of a more cohesive and just society. I am a trained lawyer and a practicing Advocate of the High Court in Kenya. My current academic pursuit of a MA in Peace Studies and International Relations has further fueled my commitment to be an agent of socio-economic justice and in so doing, be involved in transforming much of the inequality-fueled conflicts that plague the world today.

My 4 years’ work experience working for a number of non-governmental organizations, equips me with a compound vision of various programs such as Counter Trafficking, Peace and Conflict Transformation, Environment and Gender Justice Programs, Relief and Emergency as well as Legal Aid among others. NAMATI offers me a much coveted opportunity to use my legal acumen for authentic change in the society and the chance to work and learn among its rich and diverse network of awesome people. I also bring to the table a great deal of resilience, discipline and enthusiasm.
