My name is A. K. Gresco Barley, a Liberian, a founder of a local nongovernmental organization called Liberian Action To Increase Community Hope (LATICH) I have worked with many International NGOs that include but not limited to the Norwegian Refugees Council, Danish Refugees Council, and other most oy focus was on women, children, people living with disability, and remote Communities. After receiving many calls from people and Communities that I have worked with reporting increase of violation and the lack of other social services follow by a survey I discovered many gaps caused by the reduction of many International NGOs and UN agencies in the area of protection and human right monitoring, promoting peace & social justices, Water and Sanitation Hygiene (WASH), social cohesion, participation of women, girls, children, youth and vulnerable persons and enhancing the sustainability of activities and structures established by the outgoing INGOs and UN agencies. This organization LATICH was founded in May 2017 and registered as local organization in June 2018. I'm presently the Executive Director. As the organization stand to supporting women, girls, children, youth and vulnerable persons or Board chair is lady and will always be a lady.
