Part of one of the nation’s largest pro bono legal networks, MA Appleseed has been instrumental in leading vital systemic reform initiatives for over twenty years. We are driven by a mission to promote equal rights and opportunities for Massachusetts residents by developing and advocating for systemic solutions to social justice issues. We strive to identify social injustices overlooked by major sectors and to address those injustices by leveraging our own resources, partnering with pro bono attorneys, and working with strategic coalitions. Building on our experience and expertise as a leader, a convener, a trusted research resource, and an advocate, we are able to influence policy on education, youth homelessness issues, and access to justice in Massachusetts.
