MAP for PEACE

Most of our works are done using the internet platform after our monthly bi-meetings where we work and plan. We are particular of educating the youths by holding public lectures and internet campaigns

Presence in: Nigeria
Focus: Access to Information, Citizenship, Education, Other, Peace-building

MAP for Peace is a youth non governmental organization that is geared towards educating the youth about their constitutional importance in the nation, nation building and a voice to speak for the youth.

Our major method of reaching out to youth is through the medium of music and poetry which actually is where we got our name from, Music And Poetry for Peace. We believe that we could have the undivided attention of fellow youths if we approached them through mediums they can not just relate with but are familiar with and can embrace quickly; and this has been effective.

We have a constant program popularly known as ‘Youths Which Way Forward?’ and in this platform we analyze the challenges facing the typical African youths and the way forward, discussing practical solutions and helping like minded youths network successfully to fight the legal fight the right way.

We envision to become the largest consultancy and active youth organization capable of speaking out for the youths by both giving them a voice and becoming their voice in the nearest future.

I am a visionary and passionate lover of fellow youths. I am a believer that youths have the key to a better future if properly educated and informed, transformation will be massive with a reproductive result.

By training i am a documentary photographer; I also double as a writer, poet and public speaker.

I look forward to meeting new people on this platform with similar zeal and passion; people who have not given up on youths that we may work together for the securing of our future and that of the next generation paying no attention to the challenges and problems designed to stop us.
