Media Concern Initiative works in the field of sexual violence response. We are committed to contributing to an effective and sustainable sexual violence response in Nigeria & Africa.

MediaCon pioneered sexual.violencereapinse in Nigeria. As far back as 2005 the first rape crisis center was opened in Nigeria providing 24hr helplines for sexual.violence reports and counseling. With victim advocates; provision of HIV testing & counseling with provision of post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP); trauma management counseling with mental health assessments and access to treatment options; forensic interviewing for child victims, psychosocial support and referrals.

Proviṣion of capacity building for stakeholders including children at different developmental stages, criminal justice sector and adult community.

Provions of online support through IProtect App for now on Google PlayStore and website with research.
