“A society where all people live and enjoy a full life for achievement of their aspiration and development”

 Mission statement

Mission for sustainable Development initiative is an indigenous nongovernmental organization whose mission is:

“To promote the delivery of quality and equitable socio-economic, Health and environmental services, to youth, women and vulnerable groups and communities in Uganda”

The objectives of the organization are,

  1. To work toward the eradication of poverty and injustice throughout Uganda and the world;
  2. To educate and engage the public concerning the causes, effects, and means of eradication of such poverty and injustice;
  3. To strengthen the capacity and action of the public especially the youth, women and exclude peoples’  to assert their rights and overcome causes and symptoms of poverty and injustice;
  4. To promote the welfare of the children in society for a holistic child growth
  5. To ensure the protection and sustainability of the environment for the future generations.
  6. To promote food security and nutrition through the promotion of modern agriculture practices and technologies.
  7. To promote health-related programs especially reproductive health, HIV/AIDS among youth and women.
  8. To promote sustainable livelihoods through improved methodologies
  9. Such other purposes for the public benefit as the Board may determine.

The organization has a good working relationship with the community, local government, and other stakeholders in the District and beyond, our activities are based at the grass-roots communities
