Navadanya Foundation, an organization for people, was set up with a strong belief that every individual shares a general responsibility for all humanity. Compassion to stand for others culminated with the beginning of Navadanya. A few like-minded people, who came forward with a common goal of creating equitable society, laid the foundation stone. The interest towards the welfare of the society was sown as the seed, which has now germinated as the Navadanya Foundation.

To lead the organization, eminent personalities lend their helping hands by giving valuable advices to find and implement sustainable ways to uplift the weaker sections of the society, including transgenders, tribes, destitute widows and other indigenous communities. Navadanya strives to improve the social status and self-respect of the under-privileged sections of the society.

Navadanya concentrates on the environmental issues too; afforestation is one such activity to rebuild a healthy environment. The organization desalinates ponds, lakes, and other water sources to increase the ground water level. Through various welfare schemes, aids, vocational training and legal advices, the foundation can bring about a change in life of the needy and helpless people. By conducting blood donation camps, the foundation is striving to save poor people in need.

As part of our eye care initiatives, eye camps are conducted free of cost for the people in need. This in turn spreads awareness about eye and vision care. During the natural calamities and disaster, Navadanya renders services and relief measures to the people who have lost their family and properties.
