NFN is the National NGOs platform and it has a history to work on MDGs and led a national discourse on post 2015 agenda. NFN involved in research, mobilization, and awareness regarding. NFN organized a national consultation on Post-MDGs agenda for the first time in the world. Recently NFN convened a CSOs assembly and formed a common civil society platform “Nepal SDGs Forum”. NFN is the focal organization of that forum and GCAP national coalition. NFN is engaging with government, local authorities, parliamentarians and international agencies. NFN led campaigns such as Action 2015 and Beyond 2015. NFN is associated civil society forums such as GCAP, CIVICUS, IFP, A4 SD, ROA, CPDE, ADA, P-SAARC and AP-RCEM. NFN is contributing in UN led international events such as LDC Summit, FfD, UNGA, APFSD, Aid Effectiveness etc. So, NFN’s participation would represent the entire CSOs in the country, CSOs of LDCs and even the South Asia, where most of the poor people reside.
