The organization is a social housing project that provides the opportunity for needy families to work in the construction of their own homes, for the purpose of leaving the rent or the street. There is also social monitoring, supervision of children in school and in studies, as well as police reports on the involvement of project residents with drugs and other crimes. We also help them when they have a legal problem, instructing them how to proceed. After a certain amount of time has been chosen by the members of the project board for each specific case, the person has the opportunity to acquire title to the property by donating the building materials of any other family that may be coming. Today the project has more than 750 assisted families, being a reference for the region.

Francisco Augusto Navarro Rocha

My name is Francisco Augusto Navarro Rocha and I'm 24 years old. I'm a lawyer and I use to work in this area since I was 14 years old. I'm also a musician in the free time. I started at my family's law firm, and I enjoyed it more and more. In 2016, I began to assist in the Obras Sociais Pro Moradia, in which today I play the role of lawyer, speaker and conciliator. The first one is given to me by virtue of the judicial litigation that sometimes occurs and important meetings of partnership or collection in front of the municipal authorities. Speaker, since at every beginning of the cycle, I explain the contract that the beneficiaries sign with the project, in the form of a loan, listing every clause which must be fulfilled, such as children attending school, prohibition of do drugs, among others. And, last but not least, conciliator, given that in the residents' disagreements among themselves, the project intervenes, marking out hearings to solve the problem, and i drive that.
