Jonathan Ochom

Jonathan Ochom is the Land Rights Coordinator at Oxfam Uganda, where he is responsible for providing strategic direction and strengthening partnerships on land in Uganda and across the Oxfam confederation. He offers land-related technical support to Oxfam’s food security, extractives, civic space and public finance partners. Previously, Jonathan was a Programme Officer at the Democratic Governance Facility where he supported the Legal Aid Programme partners to enhance access to justice for the poor and vulnerable countrywide. As a Legal Officer at Uganda Land Alliance, Jonathan spearheaded initiatives for enhancing land tenure security for the pastoralist communities in Karamoja sub-region. Jonathan is a member of the Uganda Law Society, East African Law Society and the Network for Public Interest Lawyers.

Mr. Onen Moses is an Activist, Researcher and Policy Advocate who has attained trainings and experience in the field of; Programme/project management; Human Rights Based Approach to Development (HRBA); Land Rights programming with gendered tools and participatory approaches such as the Gender Action Learning Systems (GALS), Gender Evaluation Criteria (GEC) and Farmers’ Advocacy Consultation Tool (FACT); Advocacy, Lobbying and Campaigning; Policy formulation and Analysis; Human Rights; Human Resource Management; Right to Food and Food security; Climate Change; Governance and accountability programming; Behavioural Reform programming with specific focus on promoting and protecting the rights of Disadvantaged Groups especially Women, Children, youth and Persons Living with Disability.
