PPM is known for promoting the voices and rights of marginalized communities, particularly the Rohingya.

Peace Point-Myanmar is dedicated to educate, inspire and empower women and youth of diverse backgrounds to become leaders for democratic and social change. PPM focuses on building the capacity of an emerging generation of young men and women to take a leadership role in their communities, providing training and educational opportunities to be a force for social change. We support local grassroots organizations, activists, and community leaders that work to promote and protect human rights, fight against racial discrimination, and equality, and secure better access for Rohingya to health care, education, and other public services.

PPM operates programs mainly in Yangon, Rakhine state, and in Bangladesh Rohingya refugee camps, while some of the ppm’s programs bring diverse young people across Myanmar. PPM’s activities engage diverse young people, activists, CSOs, community leaders, and religious leaders across Myanmar.

PPM has over 6 years of working experience with diverse ethnic minority groups, particularly the Rohingya community including Rohingya IDPs, refugees focusing on human rights, citizenship, resettlement and social cohesion in Rakhine state.
