My name is Disemelo Tlali. Iam an admitted attorney of the High Court in South Africa and an activist. I completed my Bachelors degree in 2011 at the University of the Witwatersrand. I became admitted as an attorney in 2016.Prior to my admission I worked with Organizations like Probono. Org as well as South African Society for Labour Law. I serve with purpose and hope to contribute towards ending GBV which is a pandemic and still receives luke warm/slap on a wrist treatment here in South Africa. I am a legal manager at POWA and I was tasked to revive the legal department which has closed down more than twice due to lack of funding. I am looking for good networking opportunities as well as possible partnerships with other sister NGOS across Africa and internationally.
Disemelo Tlali is the network champion (main point of contact) for People Opposing Women Abuse (POWA).
