The mission of PDO is to protect, safeguard and defend the fundamental human rights and freedoms of vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals and groups by providing high quality pro bono legal aid services on CRIMINAL MATTERS, delivered in collaboration with stakeholders at community, local, state, national and international levels.

 

The PDO programs are, the provision of quality probono legal aid services as follows:

  1. Legal representation in court, police and other fora
  2. Legal advice,

iii. Mediation services,

  1. Rights awareness sensitisation,
  2. Legal education and enlightenment,
  3. Rights and policy advocacy and

vii. Referral services to other specialist organisations.
