Rahama Girl Child and Women empowerment Initiative is an NGO with its headquaters situated at Sabuwar Gandu, Kano State Nigeria

RGCWEI has about 25 full time staff and atleast 80 volunteers.

The main objectives of RGCWEI is to :

1.To promote women and children empowerment initiatives, through: advocacy, partnership, collaboration, social outfit models, institutional mechanism, supporting new technologies and initiatives and a combination of thereof that can accelerate progress for women and children in Nigeria.
2. To advocate for the eradication of child labour, trafficking and abuse and focus on the education and resettlement of abused and deprived children.
3. Support young women entrepreneurs though capacity building and networking.
4. To promote environmental development initiatives through advocacy and awareness.
5. To promote gender equality and human right though advocacy and awareness.

RGCWEI has and is conducting various programs such as:

1. Economic Development Program to empower 5000 less priviledged women and deprived children in Nigeria

2. Advocacy for human rights in programs like the eradication of child abuse and rape, Domestic Violence against girl child and women etc.

3. Construction of community centres
