Reaching the Unreached Tanzania is Non-Governmental Organization registered and operates under the Non-governmental organization Act of 2002 section 24, with the aim of addressing key sexual and reproductive health issues and promoting access to justice in Tanzania. RUT is focusing in addressing women and girls’ health related issues including but not limited to Gender Based Violence (GBV), Nutrition, HIV/AIDS, and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. RUT’s main focus is to support and help women ang girls to realize their better lives through community sensitization and programs implementation.

RUT works extensively around the following areas: 1. Sexual and Reproductive Health (HIV/AIDS, Family Planning, Nutrition, Female Genital Mutilation, Maternal and Child Health and Menstrual Hygiene). 2. Access to Justice (Legal Empowerment, Legal Aid and Advocacy, Gender Based Violence and Child Marriage) 3. Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) 4. Cross-Cutting Issues (Environment and Climate Change, Economic Empowerment and Humanitarian Aid).
