Focus: Access to Information, Other

information about their rights while also ensuring that they have a platform to be heard.

Mission: Our mission is for refugees to have access to the rights and privileges that people with European passports take for granted.  We see access to the Internet and technology as a human right but also as a vital too that, when used correctly, can assist in the struggle for human rights to be realized.

Interests: Access to Information
Sarah is the Director and Co-Founder of Refugee Info Bus. Having worked in various UK human rights charities in 2015 she started volunteering in the Calais Jungle Refugee Camp, providing legal information on the UK asylum system.

She founded Refugee Info Bus following the first violent eviction in the Calais “Jungle” Refugee Camp. Our first Refugee Info Bus began life as an old horsebox, purchased, stripped-out, cleaned-up, and converted into a mobile office and Wi-Fi hotspot for refugees and asylum seekers living in northern France. Within a year, we facilitated over 91,000 Wi-Fi logins and delivered more than 1,000 workshops to 10,000+ individuals on the UK and French asylum systems.
Sarah Story is the network champion (main point of contact) for Refugee Info Bus.
