Created in July 2010 in accordance with the law governing non-profit making associations in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the network is intended as a framework for the continuity of the broadcast Education for Human Rights and includes the former participants to the International Human Rights Training Program (IHRTP) and the Regional Session of the Human Rights Training (RSHRT) organized by EQUITAS Canada and its partners. The DRC EQUITAS Network effectively participate in social transformation, which is the goal of human rights education. Potential beneficiaries of its programs are: members of the Congolese communities and countries bordering the DRC. Its main goal is: Social transformation is effective in the DRC and its neighboring countries, through activities on human rights education.
