Rohi Foundation: is a registered association in Cameroon with the mission of promoting Human Rights, humanitarian and peace actions in Cameroon. Rohi Foundation envisions a compassionate world where everyone’s action is motivated by love. The Foundation is based in Bamenda town, The organization was founded in 2008 by a group of dedicated and compassionate social workers. Since the inception of the violence in the English speaking part of Cameroon since 2016, Rohi Foundation has focused its actions on civilian peacebuilding in the conflict zone. Presently Rohi Foundation is working on extending a project that aims to de-radicalize and reduce youths’ vulnerability to the violence in the English Speaking regions of Cameroon and also equip them to face the educational challenges provoked by the Corona pandemic. I am extremely enthusiastic to join this credible network. I am a talented Cameroonian social worker and jurist. I am the Founder & CEO of Rohi Foundation. I live and work with the civil society in Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon.
I hold a PhD in Theology and Intercultural Studies from the School of Intercultural Studies at the Faculty of Evangelical Theology, Yaoundé. I hold also a Master of Divinity, and Master of Theology. In addition, I hold a Master 1 in Law and First Degree in Law from the University of Yaoundé 2, Soa and a university attestation in Library and Information Management from the Protestant University of Central Africa, Yaoundé. I have also completed many professional trainings and internships in conflict resolution, humanitarian work, legal practice and human rights protection in both local and international organizations. I speak both English and French very well. I am also fluent in Pidgin and some of the Grassfields mother tongues.
Furthermore, I am having more than ten years of experience in the legal, humanitarian and human rights domains in the English speaking regions of Cameroon. I have administered both law chambers and NGOs in Cameroon which are working with the internally displaced people in Cameroon and refugees in the area of human rights protection and psycho-social assistance. As protection officer, I used to coordinate para-legal assistance to internally displaced people and refugees. I have led several actions to protect people forced to flee their homes, delivering life-saving assistance like shelter, food, water and legal advice to help safeguard fundamental human rights and ensuring safety and dignity.
Rohi Foundation: is a legalized grassroots organization in Cameroon. The organization was founded since 2007 by a group of dedicated and compassionate social workers with outstanding and longstanding experiences. The Foundation has executed projects in the areas of peace, human rights and humanitarian actions.
