I am a dedicated champion advancing indigenous peoples rights in northern Kenya. My key role is mobilizing, educating communities on the need to protect their lands and secure their tenure systems.

I am working for an indigenous women organization called Samburu Women Trust that has been instrumental in supporting indigenous communities in Oldonyiro ward, Isiolo County in Northern Kenya to organize and register their community lands as required by a new law in Kenya ( Community land act 2016).

In the organization, i am dedicated to support communities in organizing to register their community lands as required by the new law, educate them on the law, assist them in drafting by laws and putting in place other requirements by the law to enable their eligibility to registration of community lands.
