Seve13 La Roue is based in Marseille, France, and works to revitalize the local economy with a local currency network that provides improved access to local and sustainable artisanal services and products to low-income communities in Marseille.

To complement and strengthen our network, we provide popular education workshops that help people experience how different money systems can change how our communities see and tackle issues of access to information, economic empowerment, environmental justice, governance, resource management, labor, and employment.

An avid researcher, curious thinker, and traveler, I stand for diversity, justice, and equity. Having lived in various countries and worked in project coordination, research, communication, and education, I've developed a sensitivity towards people and culture that permit me to excel in collaborative efforts. Presently, I help coordinate a local complementary currency network in Marseille, France, which aims to revitalize the local and regional artisanal economy, making it more just, sustainable and accessible to Marseille's marginalized and poor immigrant community. While we have the largest local currency network in France, we face legal challenges to innovation in and development of our network. In joining Namati, we hope to get access to an international legal collective intelligence of experiences and knowledge that can help us improve our local currency system while also contributing to the Namati network with our own experiences to assist similar projects around the world.
Daniel McCurdy is the network champion (main point of contact) for Seve 13 – La Roue.
