The organization is a non profit making organization, neither political nor religious benefits hence satisfies to be doing charitable business as per objectives specified. The organization is Located at Kyela district Council near by Roman catholic church road.

The main aims undertaken by the organization are to protect and defend human rights, especially women and children rights; to Build community capacity on eradicating corruption, Providing free legal assistance/ Aid to community members in various legal fields, Advocate and influence transparency and accountability in performance, Creating awareness for the community on the protection of human rights.

Our vision: Have a society that focuses and respects on human rights and good governance.

Our mission: Eliminating gender-based violence in the community by educating the community and providing legal aid/ assistance to vulnerable groups such as; women and children; to ensure the community is doing equal rights for women and children.

Principle functions of an organization:

  • To raise public awareness of citizen’s constitutional rights.
  • To deal with legal advice and counselling services and other related activities.
  • To lobby of change for discriminatory policies, laws and advocate for equitable change in gender relations in Tanzania and sensitize the general public on women and children rights.
  • Offers legal education and support poor women in establishing self-help groups.
  • To build a joint network with other NGOs and Government sectors which have activities related to human rights.

Organization Staff: The organization has a total of 25 legal assistants (paralegals) recognized to work under the ministry of constitution and law for the legal aid law 2017 and regulation 2018. The structure of leadership in the institution is divided into the following areas:  Institutional Director, Coordinator, Accountant and Monitoring and Evaluation officer.
