The STARS OF POVERTY RESCUE FOUNDATION (SPRF) is a National Non-Governmental and non-profit making organization established on 30th December 2014 under the NGOs Act No. 24 of 2002 of the United Republic of Tanzania.

The objective for which the SPRF formed was to promote human welfare by enhancing poverty eradication among the poor and the needy people of Tanzania. In this endeavor it aims at complementing the efforts of the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania on the National Strategy for Growth and Reduction of Poverty (NSGRP) and towards implementation of Tanzania Development Vision 2025.

The Organization is a National NGO operating in all Districts of the Tanzanian Mainland.

Vision: “A Supreme Center of Excellence in Advocating Poverty eradication to the poor and the needy from all folks in Tanzania”.

Mission: “Poverty eradication will be the central focus of all of our doings; achieved by instilling among SPRF members a philosophy of client and community centered approach, ensuring strong and transparent leadership at all levels by making wealth creation as part and parcel of the culture in daily activities of all communities, staff, partners and the general public”.

Aim: The aim is to translate global efforts, national policies, strategies and existing partnership and be able to realize our mission and intended goals that fit in the global and national development trends and challenges.

Our work: will be dynamic community based innovations, building SPRF institutional capacities, promoting partnership with Government and all actors to relieve poverty and creating wealthy living individuals.
