I am a gender advocate, and a consummate professional with degrees in Civil Law from the University of Jos in Nigeria, and a Master of Human Rights Law from Cardiff University Wales in the United Kingdom. I am a certified peer educator in adolescent and reproductive health, skilled in public speaking, workshops and symposiums. With a passion for women's rights, girl child education and gender issues. My passion for these thematic areas influenced the publication of various research papers including; The Convention for the Rights of Persons with Disability; The Old and New Paradigm of Disability.
Over the years, I have served as a Mentor and Consultant with various women and girls right's centred organisations, allowing me to reach over 200 women and girls with information on human rights, and skill-building.
Through the Namati network, I am looking at engaging with like-minded professionals and utilising the opportunities provided via this platform to boost my connections.
Gladys Emmanuel is the network champion (main point of contact) for TABITHA EMPOWERMENT CENTRE.
