PLAJC as one of the NGOs in Tanzania has focused on promotion of peace through reduction of peace and human rights violence and enhance social justice for sustainable peace, justice and development. PLAJC is promoting Conflict prevention, analysis and reconciliation; enhance access to Justice as well as Economic empowerment for effective engagement in peace building and poverty eradication in the Country. The organisation opts for a unique approach on promoting peace and social justice, including democracy as an area which most of other NGOs in Tanzania have not adequately focused on. Due to that situation and other reasons PLAJC is established to address the above gap disregarded by other NGOs in Tanzania.

Mission:

To minimize peace and human rights violations, through analysis, prevention and   resolution of conflicts, promotion of justice, peace building mechanisms and inclusion democracy, protection of human rights including, strengthening governance, gender equality and social protection for sustainable peace and development at local and national level.
