Tariro Foundation of Zimbabwe Trust (TFZT) is an organization working towards the empowerment and inclusion of people with disabilities in various sectors. The organization works towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for people with disabilities. It operates from Mutare, Manicaland Province of Zimbabwe and was registered as a Trust in May 2018. The organization was established after noticing gaps in the communities which include the provision of education, health services, access to buildings, participation in community development, access to information and assistive devices. Since inception Tariro Foundation of Zimbabwe has tasked itself to work towards helping reduce the existing gaps and advocate for upholding of Disability Rights as enshrined in the Constitution of Zimbabwe and the United Nations Charter Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD). The organisations programs are generally cross-cutting issues that affect people with disabilities and the organisation works with all age groups.
