I am Mrs. Bindu Ansumana Kromah Fofana from Liberia. I work for The Carter Center Access to Justice Program in Liberia where i have worked since 2007 servicing in various capacities. I am an Accountant by profession but my focus now is with The Carter Center Access to Justice program serving as Senior Project Officer. My expertise right now is in the areas of supervision, training and monitoring of program activities for our Community Justice Advisers (Paralegals).

I will be looking up to experience sharing and learning new things that will improve our program (Paralegals).

I am the project lead for the Carter Center’s Community Justice Advisors (CJA) programme in Liberia. I mentor, train, and provide day-to-day legal guidance to program staff and customary leaders.
I previously served as an UNMIL (United Nations Mission in Liberia) legal officer, as such I monitored the legal and judicial systems; provided advice to legal actors; prepared reports on legal issues; and conducted trainings.
I hold Bachelor of Law from the University of Yaoundé II in the Republic of Cameroon and Master's degrees in international relations from the International Relations Institute of Cameroon and in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid from the Humanitarian Aid Studies Centre in Spain. I also speak English, French, and Spanish fluently.
This network is a unique opportunity to have a community of practice and knowledge in the field of legal empowerment. By joining the network I therefore look to gain substantial experience and learn best practices in the field.
