TPO Uganda is an indigenous national NGO established in 1992, essentially to respond to emergency refugee problem in North western Uganda by providing psycho social support services to the refugees at the time. Over time, it has grown to provide a range of other development services beyond psycho social and in other regions of the country.

It’s vision is “A society where vulnerable and other marginalized people enjoy mental health, social and economic well being and lead a harmonious mutually supportive and productive lives.

It’s mission is “As a rights-based NGO, TPO Uganda supports and works with local communities, civil society organizations and Government to meet the social protection, psychological and mental needs of vulnerable people”
