My name is Maëlle, a french woman based in Ireland and passionate about Human Rights. I just completed a masters degree in International Human Rights law and I am now a PhD candidate. I am particularly interested in gender Justice, feminist legal method and women's empowerment. I am also involved in two NGOs, one in Ireland and one in Mumbai. For "Trocaire", in Ireland, I help with global outreach and awarness raising about Global injustices. I am also working remotely for "One Future Collective" researching for the Feminist Justice project. It aims at elaborating a curriculum with a feminist lawyering appraoch to train legal practionners to deal with Gender Based violence cases with gender-sensitivity.
This conducted me to start my PhD researches about feminist lawyering for GBV cases in the Refugee context in Sub-Saharan.
In joining Namati, I hope to hear from people's experience in this field, and, perhaps, to create a network to implement feminist legal method in the refugee context.
