Uganda Forum against Corrupt Entities (Ugface) advocates for transparency and accountability in Uganda. It creates awareness for the fight against corruption in Uganda and provides information and research of the tools and techniques to effectively combat corruption. Ugface promotes reform of anti corruption agencies to improve their efficiency and independence. It also advocates for a Corruption adjustment tax to remedy three decades of plunder of public resources. Furthermore, at Ugface we believe that asset registration requirements will make asset recovery easier and cheaper, which will increase the cost of being corrupt when the corrupt are stripped of the proceeds of corruption. We support the imposition of the death penalty for most corruption cases and other deterrent punishments that will make corruption unattractive to public officials. We promote economic empowerment and job creation as a means of combating Corruption by enabling citizens to have the resources and means to make their leaders accountable.
