Universal Relief Foundation is an independent, non- partisan, non-profit organization in Kenya which works towards ensuring human rights and justice for women and young vulnerable people as well as creating an inclusive environment for the local communities in Kenya.
The organizational projects include; working towards eliminating Female Genital Cutting [FGC] and other retrogressive cultural practices, Providing Safe Education for Women & Girls, Supporting victims and survivors of Domestic violence, advocating for the Closing of Orphanages & Providing Lasting Family Life, Educating Next Generation Feminists, women, peace and conflict mitigation, Investing in Technology to Help Protect Women & Fight Violence, Improving Access to Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare, Promoting Women’s Rights, Supporting Women & Children Living in Poverty and resilience through rapid response. Women and girls have the right to a secure and productive future. URF is determined that women and girls should expect equality, education and freedom of choice wherever they live in Kenya focusing on the following priority intervention areas:
