Vision-Burudo is a nonprofit organization that was registered as a Community Based Organisation in July 2018 with Iganga District Local Government; it was formed to as a result of realizing the existing vulnerability amongst the Women & Youths amidest the potential to generate their own income which could into community Development.  Its formation was necessitated by the youth’s realization that they needed a forum through which they could address the myriad issues affecting their lot, women and the entire Community  in Iganga and Busoga subregion. The organization empowers the youth & women through the provision of a variable environment for their economic emancipation, health wellbeing, sound education and good Governance.

Our Vision: A just, equitable, Prosperous and Sustainable Community.

Our Mission: To contribute to equity, health wellbeing and Poverty eradication through a networking partnership and Collaboration Building with Civil Society Movements.

Our Programme areas include:

Good Governance, Education, Intergrated Health, economic empowerment and livelihoods.

Am Samuel Bogere, the Programmes Co-ordinator of Vision-Busoga Rural Development Organisation with over 5 years working experience in implementation and coordination of projects on Good Governance and Social Accountability while working with PACONET, UYONET and Uganda Red Cross Society. I possess a Diploma in Development Studies from Nsamizi Training Institute, A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Makerere University Business School and Currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Uganda Management Institute. By joining the Legal Empowerment Network we are looking for partnership, Financial support and knowledge acquisition in areas of human rights, good governance, advocacy and Civic Education to be able to build Power amongst People affected by Injustices in Uganda so that our communities are able to seek for peaceful solutions, protect the lands and resources they depend on, and be able to hold their governments and other perpetrators of Justice to Account for their Actions.
