Watch for Human Rights is a civil institution working on protection, advocacy and advocacy for human rights issues, and to push the human rights movement in Yemen to unify its efforts and address the undermining of the rule of law and justice.
The Foundation started its work as a youth initiative in 2016 as a result of the systematic increase in human rights violations in Yemen, and it exercised its activities in light of the siege, repeated violations and threats to human rights activity, where the team was active with the support and capabilities of self and modest in the process of monitoring and documenting violations committed by all parties to the conflict, and conducting direct interviews with victims and publish their stories through social media, with the aim of advocating for victims and communicating their suffering and voice to the local and international public opinion, and the team worked to provide assistance and advice and spread awareness in society and victims in particular about the legal procedures for documentation, starting with reporting and extracting relevant documents and reports to preparing files Legal, and moving their cases to the concerned authorities, due to the importance of this documentation in advocacy work, preserving rights and defending them, future prosecution and accountability, and supporting efforts aimed at achieving justice, redress and sustainable peace.
