WEDO’s mission is to empower vulnerable including women and girls, as decision makers to achieve economic, social and environmental justice – a healthy enabling environment, and human rights for all.
The organization is committed to working on the following objectives;
1. Empowerment and strengthening of communities especially marginalized section to contribute towards sustainable development
2. Enabling women to have the power to control their own lives both within and outside the home.
3. Promote human respect, dignity, gender equality, social security and equal opportunities.
4. Increase in both women and men’s capabilities and enhancing their knowledge, skills to conserve energy and environment.
5. Enhancing the enabling environment for more effective, accountable and gender responsive health, education and water supply.
