WEDO’s mission is to empower vulnerable including women and girls, as decision makers to achieve economic, social and environmental justice – a healthy enabling environment, and human rights for all.
The organization is committed to working on the following objectives;
1. Empowerment and strengthening of communities especially marginalized section to contribute towards sustainable development
2. Enabling women to have the power to control their own lives both within and outside the home.
3. Promote human respect, dignity, gender equality, social security and equal opportunities.
4. Increase in both women and men’s capabilities and enhancing their knowledge, skills to conserve energy and environment.
5. Enhancing the enabling environment for more effective, accountable and gender responsive health, education and water supply.

I belong from Swat, KP, law graduate and have a master degree in political science. I started my career as a Social organizer and worked in various capacities with NGOs/INGOs. Have been remained district Swat local gov. council member for twice. As a Chairperson of Social welfare committee always facilitated the Council male members to realize women strategic needs and become aware of existing gender issues and gaps, with full confidence and action points. Have worked on gender equality in Project (CESSD) in 11 districts of KP. Have planned, organized and trained thousands of women & men including elected, appointed officials and religious leaders on gender equality. My one of the contribution is to develop communication booklet – “Education, Water Management, Health, and Hygiene and Islam, from gender equality perspectives” I am an executive member of Women's Environment & Development Organization, WEDO, KP, committed working for enabling environment and women empowerment.
