The mission of the WLC is to ensure protection of women’s human rights and contribute to reducing domestic violence and violence against women in Moldova. The WLC supports a human rights based approach and strives for change at the individual, community and systemic levels. The organization’s activities and efforts focus on several strategic directions: policy advocacy, monitoring of implementation of new laws and protection mechanisms; and providing legal services to women and children affected by domestic violence.
