Chris S Brown, a citizen of Liberia, is the founder and Executive Director of Young Life Initiative Liberia (YLIL). On December 18, 2017 Young Life Initiative Liberia Inc (formerly Young Life Youth Liberia) was established. The vision of YLIL is to identify and support every child going through challenges and give hope to the less privileged children by provided more opportunity and scholarship. Also to discover children that have lost purpose, mentor them and give those reasons to live a beneficiary and profitable life and to empower every young person, educate, and engage in health and all the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In 2019, the Organization changed name to Young Life Initiative Liberia Inc and worked with that name for three months before the registration of the new name. Later in that same year, YLIL organization signed partnership with ICARE and Kectil Program to foster more relationship and support the cause to empower youths in commonwealth countries. On July 05, 2019 YLIL partnered with The Netherlands Education Group and Stitching Libertas International to empower youths, educationally and in change making career, through seminars and workshops.

Young Life Initiative Organization will offer cross-curricular learning, health, and all opportunities that encourage active life-long learning and health that engages and enhances the whole youth both mentally and physically. We will intentionally build a school, and healthy community that bridge the achievement gap by setting goals that are positive and creative through education and empowerment.
