We're based in kawangware slums of Dagoretti north sub county of Nairobi city county Kenya. Our roles are advocating for social and economic justice for slum women/widows and youths.

  1. Yneep is a grassroot community based serving youth and women organization (cbo) situated in kawangware slums of Dagoretti North, Nairobi city county kenya.

Its an umbrella organization comprising of 25 groups of youth and women. We founded it on the basis to advocate for the equity and equality for the majority poor of the slum population i.e youths, widows, widowers, peoples living with disabilities, younger mothers and offering mentorship opportunity to drug addicts etc. We do oversight, civic engagement for public participation and collaboration, and push for constitutional implementation for tthe feminism policy, as provided in the constitution.

Our mission is justice, equity and equal opportunities for all.

I'm Benson simiyu wesamba citizen of the republic of kenya by birth. Community civil rights advocater, founder youth network on economic and empowerment programs (yneep), chair kawangware youth initiative, board member to(Kilimanjaro initiative, national youth council Nairobi, Pamoja trust, yes youth can Nairobi) also member to Global youth anti- corruption network.
I'm believer of social and economic justice for all, where equity and equality is core. For the the development and growth of our communities.
The need to join this network was born out of need to network, exchange programs, meet and share with the top global justice defenders and source for resources to expand the network and spread wide the justice voice for the marginalized groups.
Benson Wesamba is the network champion (main point of contact) for Youth Network on Economic and Empowerment Programs (YNEEP).
