Innovative project on health accountability to launch in India

Three organizations, Nazdeek, PAJHRA, and ICAAD, have received support from the Information Society Innovation Fund to create a mobile app which will make delivery of maternal health services accountable to tea garden workers in Assam, the site of India’s highest rate of maternal mortality. “Our innovative project combines technology, community trainings, and legal advocacy to increase accountability in the delivery of health services by mapping and tracking gaps in the health system within the region. ” says Nadzeek Executive Director Sukti Dhital.
