In September, Liberia passed the long-awaited Land Rights bill into law, representing a major victory for community land rights, but the work has only just begun.

This new op-ed in PLACE by Namati’s Rachael Knight and Ali Kaba of the Sustainable Development Institute – Liberia highlights key provisions of the new law and calls for a nation-wide legal education campaign to ensure all Liberians understand their new land ownership rights.
