Cesar Augusto Muedo

Health Advocate III, Zambezia, Mozambique

Cesar Augusto Muedo was born in Maputo and graduated with a degree in Geography at the Pedagogical University of Quelimane. Cesar worked for 5 years as a counselor, providing Health Counseling and Testing (ATS) and Psychosocial Support (APSS) at Friends in Global Health (FGH). He has also worked in the community setting for ATS and HIV/AIDS, welcoming adults and young people, conducting community lectures, as well as listening to and attending to patients living with HIV/AIDS. Cesar’s experience working as a counselor allowed him to witness countless situations where providers were unaware of the rights and duties of patients in healthcare facilities, and this motivated him to join Namati Mozambique.
