Debayan Gupta is a 2017 graduate from the National Law University of Odisha with a keen interest in environmental law and human rights. He originally joined the CPR-Namati Environmental Justice Program in 2015 as an intern.
While in law school, Debayan represented his University in several debates and moot court competitions. Most notably, he served as the researcher for the team that made it to the semi-finals of the White and Case International Rounds of the 58th Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition wherein the primary issue area, among other things, involved international groundwater law and protection of a world heritage site.
