Health Advocate, Right to Health, Inhambane, Mozambique

Born in Zavala District, Inhambane Province, Gertrudes has long been passionate about health rights. From 1999 to 2013, she worked at PSI as a Community HIV/AIDS prevention agent and as a provincial assistant focused on sex workers and their clients. From 2014-2015, she worked as a social worker at Pathfinder, focusing on the health challenges facing the sex worker community.
